With the passing of Presidents Day, we cannot help but think about all of those who served as President of The United States, the conflicts they dealt with while in office and how they lived their lives before and after serving their terms.

One of the best President websites for insight and information is PresidentsUSA.net. Take a look and enjoy the depth of information. Also, if you enjoy hands on research, learn about the Office of Presidential Libraries. The Office of Presidential Libraries administers a nationwide network of Presidential libraries beginning with the 31st President of the United States, Herbert Hoover. Currently, this includes:

  • 13 Presidential Libraries
  • Presidential Materials Staff
  • Central Office Staff

Presidential Libraries

Presidential Challenges

Also, given the divisiveness of the past 10-15 years, we felt it would be good to revisit Presidents Lincoln’s famous “House Divided” speech given in 1858. The famous assertion that ‘a house divided against itself cannot stand’ would be a good cautionary note to consider given the aggressive partisan rhetoric introduced after the 2000 election.
